Tree Removal

Tree Removal Services

Some trees just have to come down. Maybe a storm cracked the trunk, a big old maple is leaning over the roof, or the roots are lifting your driveway. We take down trees of every size across Augusta, Waterville, and the Kennebec Valley, from a single backyard tree to large hardwoods wedged up against a house or power line. When we leave, the yard is raked and clean.

When a tree needs to come down

When a tree needs to come down

Removal is the right call when a tree is dead or declining, has a split trunk or major deadwood, leans hard toward a building, or has just outgrown its spot. Storm-loaded and ice-damaged trees can fail without much warning. Not sure where yours stands? We will tell you straight whether it can be saved with some pruning or whether it really needs to come out.

How It Works

What to expect

  • Step 1

    Free on-site assessment

We look at the tree, its lean, what is below it, and how we will get equipment in. You get a clear written price with no surprise add-ons.

  • Step 2

A removal plan that protects the property

Open yard trees can be felled in one piece. Tight spots near homes, fences, and lines get rigged down in controlled sections, with crane or bucket support when it makes the job safer.

  • Step 3

    Takedown by insured crews

The work is done by licensed, fully insured Maine tree crews who do this every day, with the right ropes, saws, and protective gear.

  • Step 4

    Cleanup and haul-away

We chip the brush, haul the debris, and rake up after ourselves. Want the wood cut to length for the stove? Just say so and we will leave it stacked.

Questions

Tree Removal: common questions

How much does it cost to remove a tree?

It depends on height, trunk size, and how close the tree is to your house or power lines. Small yard trees are far cheaper than large hardwoods that have to be rigged down in pieces. The only way to get an exact number is a free on-site look. Call (207) 707-3495, or email [email protected].

Can you remove a tree close to my house or power lines?

Yes. Tight, high-risk removals are most of what we do. Our crews rig the tree down in controlled sections and bring in a crane or bucket truck when it makes the job safer. If a line is involved, we coordinate appropriately before any cutting starts.

Do you clean everything up?

Always. Brush gets chipped, debris gets hauled, and we rake the area before we leave. If you want the trunk wood kept, we will cut it to length and stack it.

How fast can you come out?

For standard removals we schedule promptly once you approve the estimate. If a tree is on your house or blocking a driveway right now, call us. We run 24/7 emergency storm response.
